Case Studies of Multicultural Educationin a Global Context |
글로벌 맥락에서 다문화교육이 어떻게 진행되고 있는지를 사례 중심으로 연구하는 수업이다. 특히 다문화교육을 앞서 실시한 국가를 중심으로 다문화 교육의 사회적 배경과 실제 교육 내용을 집중적으로 살펴본다. 수업은 학생들이 직접 해당 주제를 심층적으로 탐구하는 방식으로 진행된다. 이 수업을 통해 얻게 될 다문화교육에 대한 지식과 인식은 향후 중등학교 현장에서 예비교사가 자신의 수업에 맞는 다문화교육을 실시하는데 주요한 자산으로 작용할 것이다. | This course aims to study some cases of multicultural education in a global context. One or two countries will be picked up to study how they developed multicultral education curricula and why. The course includes the students' intensive research on the background of multicultural education and educational practices in each country. Through these case studies the students will gain the ability to implement their own multicultural instruction in a Korean secondary class which is rapidly changing into a multicultural milieu. |
